Those are three of the most frequently ask questions, so I'll leave those for you now :)

Hello Artemis and thank you for listening to my response. I've finally gotten the chance tonight to read through the entire FAQ section and from what I've read the game sounds great.
I do have a few questions though. Is there a page on this site where I can sign up for a mailing list to know the updates and release date(s) for the beta and final version when they become available? If not then this would be a great way for you to keep in thouch with interested visitors apart from this message/comment board. Keep up the great work Artemis and MuggleNet! - TheMike

You can't join the game yet, it's still in development. (If you did join, you'd be stuck in the newbie area and couldn't move around at all, unless you were a creator.)

With MUDs there are no 'versions' (beta or final). MUDs are always changing, new stuff is always being added or tweaked. There will just be a time, once it's playable, that the address for the MUD will be released to the public so everyone can play.

Any chance of getting a message board (forums) set up specifically for this group? In the past when my group of friends has been anticipating the release of a game, we'd set up a website with message boards to talk about what type of characters we want to be, things we'd like to do in the game, make plans for guilds and in-game groups, and just have general get-to-know-you conversation...just as someone above asked about starting a DADA group.

For a game like this where things are constantly being changed/added/tweaked, it would also be nice (later down the road) for players to be able to bounce around ideas and comments in a message board.

I also think that TheMike's idea for a newsletter/mailing list would be great. I'm eagerly looking forward to joining in the fun here, and I'd love to know how things are going as it's being developed.

Alice, i agree. when you don't have it, tell your teacher everything you did on the computer, and talk really fast. she (or he) won't understand you!

Not sure if Artemis is playing a mailing list or anything like that. I recommend that you watch this site for news in the mean time.

As for a message board/ideas board, there are in-game boards that you can post on, once the game is released.

You'll probably be able to connect to the MUD from this site once it's available. You won't need to download anything (unless you want to download a client and not use telnet - most clients are free). There might be a java client that is made that you can connect through, but I'm not sure if it's in the plans.

I agree, I think a newsleter or separate foum is a good idea.
