I like how you have to start over to become a Werewolf or Animagi.
I like how you have to start over to become a Werewolf or Animagi. It gives players a chance to get a feel for the game before they can get the special and unique abilities. (Kinda like a New Game Plus on FFX-2). As a Werewolf, would you have to take a wolfsbane potion before the full moon every time? Would the player lose control of their character for a short time if they didn't take the potion? Are there any other types of special abilities to choose from besides Werewolf and Animagi? Maybe like vampire or something?

Is there something beyond level 91?
I noticed that you set a cap on the number of levels a character can advance to (91 I think you said). So once you get to level 91, are you just done (besides starting over)? Or is there something beyond level 91?

Can you advance skills outside of the spell systems though?
The spell system sounds great. I was wondering if you can advance skills outside of the spell systems though? You mentioned players can fight like muggles, so would you have fighting type of skills they can advance as well?

You mentioned that a player can "gain a small amount of skill in a spell simply by casting it."
You mentioned that a player can "gain a small amount of skill in a spell simply by casting it." In Discworld MUD there was a taskmaster system. It allowed players to gain a level in a particular skill by practicing it,a tm. The player usually got a tm if they were just on the border of failing or succeeding in the skill. A yellow line would come across the screen saying something like "You suddenly understanda piece of lore concerning enchanting." This sounds similar to what you are do in the Harry Potter MUD. So, um, would the player be informed when they gain more skill in that spell?

What kinds of characters are there?
How would you distinguish between different types of characters? Most MUDs have different races, classes, or guilds that you can put your character into, giving them different skills, commands, abilities, spells, etc.

How do Skills and Spells work?
7. What kind of skill system would be implemented? Would it be a type of branch system (ie Discworld MUD), or would characters just gain levels (ie Everquest for PS2)? Would there be a cap on levels, skills, experience, etc.? Or would it just level out and become harder to level up as you get farther in the game?

How does Experience work?
How would characters level up? How would they gain experience? Would they be able to kill npcs? Would they gain experience from casting spells, completing commands, just being logged in?
